Hey there,
In case we haven’t met yet — I’m Jarek. I’m an architect with a love for mountains, thoughtful design, and the quiet precision of making spaces feel truly lived in. Born in Poland, educated in the UK, shaped by Berlin, and currently dividing my time between Cyprus and Poland, I’ve gathered a mix of cultural and architectural influences that continue to inform my work.
Over the past years I’ve moved from larger practices to running my own studio, where I focus on carefully tailored residential and small-scale public projects. I enjoy working closely with clients, understanding how they live, and translating their needs into contextual, sustainable, and thoughtfully crafted architecture. Alongside practice, I teach — which keeps me curious, grounded, and connected to new ideas.
If this Journal section has been a bit empty… it’s mostly because life and projects have been wonderfully full. But this space is meant to be more than a placeholder. It’s where I plan to share the stories behind the work — design processes, site observations, material explorations, challenges, small victories, and the occasional misadventure that is inevitable in architecture.
My aim here is simple: to open a window into the practice, connect with like-minded people, and document the evolving path of designing meaningful places.
Thanks to everyone who has supported me on this journey so far. It’s been a transition full of growth, doubt, breakthroughs, and a lot of learning — and I’m excited for what comes next.
More soon,
Jarek
